An evening of Art in Progress

To further enhance Absolut’s deeply-ingrained creative identity, the duo will showcase all five of Absolut’s beliefs through their unique take on urban art.

Celebrating years of bringing creative collaborations through art, Absolut presents Art Bar Hyderabad in association with renowned graffiti duo artists HoozInc (Nikhil and Chandini) at Le Vantage Café Bar. To further enhance Absolut’s deeply-ingrained creative identity, the duo will showcase all five of Absolut’s beliefs through their unique take on urban art.

On an evening called “Art in Progress”, HoozInc’s art was centred on the brand’s culturally relevant beliefs. The duo works with a variety of materials to create different types of graffiti and installations and their work is usually inspired by society and social issues that need attention.

Absolut aims to instigate a more open world, where art is not only striking, but also evocative. The concept “Art In Progress” is a retrospect of the future of art, constructing on the belief that art has the power to change the world.

Soul-liberating and imagination-provoking, the concept strives to encourage people to go beyond the limits defined by themselves or by the society. It celebrates humanity. The art of the future has no definition; it is not just restricted to a canvas. The art of the future is abstract and free, and “Art In Progress” is an evening that embodies this spirit.

Taking over the DJ console for the evening was the multi-faceted electronic music producer Arman Menzies, popularly known as Zokhuma. The artist who loves to experiment with a variety of genres and sounds to create his own expression of music had, definitely, added a unique vibe to the Absolut Art Bar.

Over the years, Absolut has built a strong association with art and creativity by demonstrating global heritage and commencing local initiatives. Through the Art Bar collaboration, Absolut continues to drive awareness and create a clear bridge between creativity and Absolut.

Absolut’s iconic visual imagery has long been a part of the contemporary Indian culture and has helped in establishing a connect with the urban creative millennials.
